Haldex market

The Group’s sales in 2008 derived 38% from North America, 53% from Europe and 9% from other markets. However, the markets in South America and Asia, foremost China, are growing robustly, and their importance to the Group is increasing rapidly.

Haldex divisions

The Commercial Vehicle Systems division (CVS) develops and manufactures brake systems for heavy trucks, trailers and buses. The product offering includes all main components and subsystems included in a complete brake system.

Hydraulic Systems offers a broad product line of hydraulic pumps, power systems, fuel transfer pumps for diesel engines and special products for reducing emissions from diesel engines. Our operations in the area of hydraulic pumps are focused on gear pumps.

The division also delivers hydraulic lifting systems and drive systems for industrial vehicles (construction and farm machinery, forklift trucks, work platforms).

Traction Systems produces electronically controllable systems for four-wheel drives for cars, known as AWD systems. The fact that these systems are controllable means that they can better interact with other subsystems in the car. The system software can be customized to meet each carmaker’s particular wishes in terms of driving characteristics and traction.
