Dual Circuit Foot Valve

The floor-mounted Dual Circuit Foot Valve functions to modulate the application of the service brakes by controlling the delivery of air to the service chambers. It also separates the primary and secondary service circuits so in a failure of one circuit, the other is still functional. It is available as a valve assembly only or with treadle attachment and replaces the Bendix E-6 or Sealco Dual Circuit Foot Valve. It’s FMVSS-121 compliant to meet or exceed all federal motor vehicle safety braking requirements.

Unique Design

  • Superior internal spring design provides smooth consistent pedal feel
  • Two individual service brake circuits in a single housing means fewer system components, simplifying plumbing and troubleshooting
  • NPT, metric and PTC (push-to-connect) ports for ease in plumbing
  • Upper portion of the valve made of metal with zinc dichromate coating for corrosion resistance
  • Lower portion of the valve made of durable Engineering Grade Composite (EGC) for reduced weight and resistance to corrosion
