Haldex Helps Judge at SuperTech EventCompany Announcement/Press release - 2016-02-12
TMC SuperTech held its 10th annual competition in Orlando Florida in September. The SuperTech national technical skills competition is an annual event held in conjunction with TMC's Fall meeting. The event offers technicians the opportunity to compete for top honors and valuable prizes. Technicians come from all segments of the trucking industry to take part in the hands-on competition.
Several members of the Haldex Team were there to help. Scott Corbett, Chris Jamieson, Bob Rudolph, and Jeff Hall were on hand to assist with judging duties.
The Haldex group worked at the Brake Station (one of fifteen total skill stations). Seven wheel-ends were setup. Participants had 23 minutes to complete a written component and a hands-on component. The event is an opportunity to recognize techs and their importance to the industry. An eye for detail and critical thinking skills were essential for success.
FedEx technicians swept the top three spots. For the second straight year, Mark McLean of FedEx won the competition.
