Core Return Shipping Instructions for Air Products Only

Friction Product Cores are to be returned to your designated Haldex Friction Center

 

1. DO NOT INCLUDE WARRANTY UNITS.

2. Indicate quantity of cores shipped in columns marked “Good” or Damaged.” Final determination of core condition will be made by Haldex.

3. Interchange and upgrade information must be noted on the packing list with core group sold and core group returned to receive proper credit.  

4. Freight Policies:

U.S. Customers Freight Policy

  • Core return shipments exceeding 500 lbs. can be shipped 3rd Party via Haldex’s approved carrier Novapath Supply Chain Systems (336-296-1179)
  • Core return shipments under 500 lbs. must be shipped freight prepaid.
  • Refer to L00036W Core Return Policy & Procedure Manual - F. Freight [www.haldex.com - Policies] for complete details.
  • All material must be packed in suitable containers and shipped to the appropriate location (See #7).
  • The bill of lading, covering return freight, must be marked “Used Truck Parts NMFC 18400".

Canada Customers Freight Policy

  • Core return shipments exceeding 500 lbs. can be shipped freight collect via Haldex’s approved carriers (Vitran 1-800-263-9588 or Midland Transport 1-888-643-5263).
  • Core return shipments under 500 lbs. must be shipped freight prepaid.
  • Refer to L00036W Core Return Policy & Procedure Manual - F. Freight [www.haldex.com - Policies] for complete details
  • All material must be packed in suitable containers and shipped to the appropriate location (See #7).

5. Cores that are acceptable for core credit are shown in the Core Acceptance List within L00036W Core Return Policy & Procedure Manual [www.haldex.com - Policies].

6. Due to processing time requirements, cores received in the Haldex facility five (5) days prior to Haldex’s month-end date will be reflected on the next month’s report.

8. Damaged Core Abbreviation Codes. Each code represents a percentage reduction from the dollar amount of the core return. Refer to L00036W Distributor “Sight-Check” Guidelines for complete details [www.haldex.com - Policies].

         DC - Damaged Crankcase
