Dear Customers,
Dear Colleagues,
Dear Suppliers,

Yet another year is coming to an end. A year that, just as 2020, for all of us has been quite influenced by the ongoing pandemic. The market demand has been strong yet hampered by raw material, sub-component, and freight scarcities/cost increases. A challenging environment to all of us no doubt. It is of course our joint desire to reach a more stable and pre-pandemic alike business situation as soon as possible. Time will tell but we would like to believe that the situation improves during 2022.

During the year Haldex has welcomed its new President & CEO Mr. Jean-Luc Desire and has also launched an updated business strategy for the next years to come. Part of the updated strategy has been related to re-organize and strengthen our organization to serve our customers in an even better and more valuable way. Other important corner stones of the updated strategy are Haldex contributions and steps taken towards a safer, greener, and sustainable transport industry.

From a business perspective we look back at a year when Haldex has seen a significantly increased market interest for its legacy products like Air Disc Brakes, EBS systems and Actuators but also a year when new products have been introduced. LifeSeal+, our new fully sealed actuator which is more robust and durable than any other actuator before, and EB+ 4.0, our new global ABS/EBS trailer platform as a few examples. Further to this, new products and product lines has and will continuously be added to address Haldex objectives within the value segments and the aftermarket service.

Looking forward to a joint and prosperous 2022 Haldex and I wish you all a Merry Christmas! And a happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year.
