Financial Control & Tax Manager - Finance

Description of the role

The Financial Control & Tax Manager will be an important member of the Group Finance team, reporting to the Director Group Finance. Main tasks and responsibilities are corporate governance processes, internal control, compliance to national/international tax rules (including transfer pricing), pensions and lease accounting according to IFRS 16. The position is to a large extent project oriented but will also include hands on support on a day-to-day basis to our subsidiaries in accounting and tax related questions, you will therefore work closely to the local finance organizations across the Haldex Group.


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Corporate governance processes and internal control
  • Tax compliance, including transfer pricing
  • Monitor the Group’s defined benefit pension schemes
  • Lease accounting according to IFRS 16
  • Preparation for implementation of new accounting standards and interpretations
  • Maintain Haldex Financial policys’s and Accounting Manual
  • Participate in month-end activities as well as external financial reporting

Required skills & experience

Required education and experience

You have a university degree in accounting, business administration or similar. To be successful in this role we believe you have at least 5 years of relevant experience from a group finance department, preferable in an international environment. A background from audit or tax could also be relevant. You have proficiency in Microsoft Office products and preferable knowledge of Cognos Controller group accounting software or similar.


Personal characteristics

We believe you have strong analytical mindset; you also have a holistic perspective but can deep dive into details when necessary to solve questions and issues. You are self-motivated and have great social, collaboration and communication skills, both in Swedish and English. You work in a structured manor and enjoy a high pace. You dare to challenge, and you want to drive change.
