ABS 4.0

The newly developed ABS 4.0 trailer brake platform utilises a modular design strategy, where several separate functional modules can be configured into a system with the desired functional scope. Since ABS 4.0 is based on the EB+ 4.0 EBS platform, some features normally only possible with EBS can be added depending on the variant. For example, rollover control and towing vehicle communication.

ABS stands for anti-lock braking system and the main function is to prevent the wheels from locking up during braking, thereby maintaining adhesion with the road 
surface. In addition, the ABS 4.0 controls auxiliary devices such as raise and lower valves (COLAS+), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS 2.0). Advanced UDS diagnostics on CAN bus, as well as simple diagnostics by warning lamp, is supported. ABS 4.0 is a multi-voltage system that supports 8V-32V operating voltage.
