Check valve

The check valve secures lines in which compressed air is to flow in only one direction, protecting against return flow and a corresponding undesirable drop in pressure.

The compressed air flowing in at connection 1 lifts the check valve from its seat against the force of the spring and flows to port 2. If the pressure is reduced at port 1, the check valve is pressed against its seat, and return flow of the compressed air is no longer possible.
