Connected with DIAG++ V3

Once DIAG++ version 3 is launched and connected to a valid SUMS account, data is exchanged automatically between the trailer’s EBS and the SUMS portal. This ensures:

 

  • Automatic Updates
    DIAG++ V3 will fully facilitate application software updates when available when EBS valves are connected.

  • Compliance with R156
    DIAG++ V3 collects information on updates, helping workshops to maintain compliance once the operator has collected trailer information.

  • Offline Mode
    Details of configuration and software updates will be exportable for upload from another device with an internet connection.

  • Configuration Lock
    Type Approval relevant settings will not be editable once a ECU is ‘locked’. Locking is effevtive after end-of-line test through DIAG++ V3 or automatically after vehicle has travelled 500 km (already in place since version A847 on EBS and ABS 4.0).
